You and Me
You and me
Like a flower and a bee
Unique in purpose and design
Our hearts have chosen to realign
It’s a wonder God made us for each other
When we could have easily chosen another
Daily I seek to give you pleasure
You are my dearest treasure
In times of ecstasy or pain
Together we remain
Forever to be
You and me
Note: I took this photo in Miami’s Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. I wrote the poem in honor of my dear husband.

Very nice on both counts!
Thank you, John.
Beautiful picture and poem, reminds me of my boyfriend
I’m glad you liked it.
Makes me want to cry…so beautiful and so true. Seeing you and Dad in love after all these years after all you’ve been through together is such an inspiration and joy. Our God is a God of amazing miracles. You are a gift and a treasure…love you!
PS – Are you the flower and is Dad the bee?? Ha, Ha! Love you guys!
beautiful! not only the image but also the beauty and arrangement of the poem on the page.

Thank you. Hearing from you has allowed me to visit your blog. Your work is delightful. I have never had the privilege to visit South America, so your blog is intriguing to say the least.
